Financial Aid Night Info

Seniors and their parents:
If your student is planning on attending any type of post-high school educational program (technical/trade school, 2 & 4-year college/university), you and your student will need to complete a FAFSA for financial aid purposes.  FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  The FAFSA is the standard form used by all post-high schools to determine a family's financial need in paying for college.

PVHS counselors are hosting their annual FAFSA Completion Night on Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30-8:30 in the high school library.

Representatives from a local college's Financial Aid Office will be on hand to assist families as they complete their FAFSA.

If you plan on attending, be sure to bring the following with you.

- your son/daughter (to complete the Student portion of the FAFSA)
- your son/daughter's chrome book (there will be a very limited number on hand)
- your FSA ID
- your student's FSA ID
-  your tax returns from 2018

To apply for a FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID #, go to:

Neither the parent nor the student will be able to complete the FAFSA without an FSA ID.
Be sure to allow enough time to apply for one before the workshop on October 3rd.
