Dear Parent /Guardian,

Today is the last day of the second marking period.  Report cards are expected to be available on HAC at noon on Friday January 31st.

North Montco Technical Career Center will hold their Open House on Thursday February 6th from 5:30-7:30pm. If your freshman or sophomore student is interested in checking out the many educational and career possibilities, plan on attending.

If your freshman or sophomore student is planning on applying to North Montco Technical Career Center for the 2020-21 school year, the application deadline is March 5th. High school counselors can provide an application and answer questions.

On January 28th we will not be sending students to the tech school due to their Skills Competition. Those participating that day at MCCC should arrive by 8am. Tech school students not participating in the competition that day should follow a PV in, Tech out schedule. (AM students can arrive by 10:30am if they have a ride in - must sign in at the front office and PM students may leave at noon. AM or PM students who will be at PV all day are to attend study hall for the periods they are normally assigned to the tech school).

There will be an informational meeting for students/parents that are interested in taking an advanced placement course for the first time on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:30 pm in the auditorium. Parents and students are welcome to attend to learn about the AP Program.

Program Planning for the 20-21 school year will begin soon!  The updated program planning guide is now online.  Please read through the guide as there is important information about requirements, deadlines, and of course, the course descriptions. Our next extended homeroom will provide students with additional information about the program planning process.

We have some exciting new courses/electives for the upcoming year: Industrial Print Graphics 2, Music 101, Football 1, and Football 2. These are  joining last year’s additions of Peer Buddies, App Design Studio, Social Media in the Business World, Personal Finance, Psychology, and Modern Middle East.  Read through the guide to find out more about each of these courses.
