Good afternoon, This is a friendly reminder from the PV Post Prom Committee that registration forms for students and permission forms for parents are posted on our website: Post Prom. Students who submit a registration and parent permission form by TODAY will be entered into a raffle to win prizes. Prizes include Smart TVs, laptops, iPads, Beats headphones, and even a drone! Raffle drawings will be held at the end of the party and students must be present the evening of Post Prom to collect the prize. If you have any questions, please feel free to email pvpostprom@gmail.com.
The PV Post Prom event is a week away and volunteers are still needed to make this event a success for our high school students. We hope that you may consider donating some of your time at Perkiomen Valley High School on May 11 or 12 (or in the wee hours of May 13) to provide an evening of fun that keeps both our students and our community safe. You do not need to be the parent of a high school student to volunteer – in fact, we welcome anyone to join us so that this celebration has continuity into the future. Post Prom is a drug- and alcohol-free event open to juniors and seniors regardless of whether or not they go to prom. It is free for those who attend. This year’s theme is “Vegas Lights.” The hours will be from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m., but if staying up late is not your thing, we need help with set-up as well. Teacher appreciation week is next week. We no longer have a home and school at the high school that does things for staff during teacher appreciation week so the high school staff gets left out:( Please feel free to reach out to the educators that have made a difference in the lives of your children to thank them. I can tell you that it will be appreciated. We often discuss how lucky we are as educators to work with your children and that we have a wonderful community. (If you are interested in re-starting home and school for next year let me know. We would need parents who are interested in being officers). The library will be CLOSED for AP Tests on the following days:
