Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

Don’t forget that our website contains a wealth of information. For your convenience, in partnership with Frontstream Payments, the high school will accept online payments through the Home Access Center for outstanding fees. Please note in order to be directed to the Frontstream payment portal you will need to disable popup blockers on your web browser. Payments made after 5 pm will post the next business day.

To access the payment portal log into HAC using the parent login and find the Fee Balance on the right hand side of the initial page. You can click on the fee balance to see the fee information and to make an online payment. You must turn off your popup blocker in order to make an online payment.

 

Processing fees are as follows:

 

25 cents per transaction for electronic check payments (requires entering bank routing number and account number)

2.10% for payment with a Debit Card

2.39% for credit card payment

2.89% for payment with a credit rewards card


You can still pay for these items with a check(s) turned in to the main office to Mrs. McCloskey if you prefer. If you have any questions or feel that an error has been made on your student’s account, please contact the main office.

 

Fee portal help:

When you go into the fee section of the registration page to see what fees/payments have been applied to your child’s account you should use the drop down menus to guide you.

The page defaults to “Open Items” - items which have not yet been paid.

If you change the payment status to “view all” you will see all charges and payments.  You can limit the view to only this year or you can change it to specific school year.   “Any Year” will let you see all charges and payments regardless of school year.

Additionally, payments made after 5pm will not post until the next business day.  If you have any questions regarding this feel free to contact me. 



The 3rd payment ($353)  for the Senior Trip to Disney is due Sept 27th. You can log into HAC and you will see all of the remaining payments.   Payments can be made in HAC or by bringing a check made out to PV Class of 2020 to Mrs. McCloskey in the main office.  Senior Class Webpage



Senior dues, which are a one time $25 fee payable to the PV Class of 2020, have been added to the accounts for a students listed in grade 12.  These dues help offset the costs for some senior costs which include but are not limited to: cap and gowns, tassel, diploma cover, diploma etc. This can be paid online in HAC. 


 


The majority of the activity fees for fall sports have been entered into HAC.  The activity fees for clubs, winter and spring sports will be added as the year progresses. I would recommend that you do not pre-pay an activity fee for a sport or activity until you see it in the fee portal. Any and all “vape” products are not permitted in school or on a bus, ever.  We need your help reinforcing this. We do not tolerate this behavior and students found to be in possession or participating will receive school discipline. Please see the student handbook on the website for more information. If you student is absent for the day, please notify the attendance office   HS Attendance Webpage.  Parents will receive a phone call from us if a student is marked absent and we have not received notification from a parent or guardian.  



Educational Trip forms can be found on our website as well.  Request form must be submitted to the Principal five (5) days prior to the student’s departure. Educational Trip Form


Approval for such trips is limited to ten (10) school days per year. Any days above the 10 days of absence will not be approved for an educational trip.


Educational trips will not be approved during Keystone Exams or Final Exams. Please do not schedule trips during these times or at the very end of the school year as the school calendar could be impacted by snow days.  Final exams are the last 3 days of school and we will not let students take their final exams early.


Non-school educational trips are not recommended for students in academic difficulty or with attendance problems and will not be approved. 


It is the responsibility of the student to contact his/her teacher to make arrangements to make up work missed during an educational trip.  


College visits and job shadowing opportunities will be counted as non-absences if student returns with official evidence from the college/job (i.e., stationary/business card from college admissions office or from supervisor if job shadowing, and/or other documentation verifying proof of visit/job shadowing). An educational trip form must be completed for a college visit.



The volunteer run PV Power Packs Program offers free meals and snacks to students in need of food during the weekends. Bags of food will be given to students on the last school day before every weekend. There is no requirement to provide any financial information.  

If you would like to have your student(s) receive Power Packs when school starts, you will need to sign them up in one of the following ways.  They are NOT automatically set to continue receiving a Power Pack even if they received one last year.  

1. Email powerpacks@pvsd.org with the name(s) of the student(s), grade(s) they are entering, school they will be attending, and any allergy or food restrictions.

2. Fill out the form online (1 form for each student):  PV Power Packs

3. Fill out the attached form and send it in with your student at the beginning of school.  This form will also come home in the packet that comes home on the first day of school with your student.

Final sittings for Senior Portraits, contact Lifetouch at 1 (800) 687-9327 to set up an appointment for these days. Senior IDs will be made from the senior portraits. All seniors are to get their portrait taken for the yearbook and ID purposes but are under no obligation to purchase.
